Community Craft was born in 2024 as a non-profit organization of Prodigy Brewing’s in support of our community’s unsung heroes. From the beginning, Prodigy Brewing is dedicated to Cache Valley, and Community Craft’s mission is to support those who work tirelessly to make our community a better place. Community Craft allows us to shine a spotlight on local heroes and provide them with the support they deserve. So many people add value to our community and go unnoticed with little or no financial support; our goal is to honor these individuals and help them continue their efforts.

Fundraising for Community Craft kicked off with the first annual Community Craft Beer Fest on September 22nd 2024. Our goal was to bring the community together for an afternoon to celebrate Utah’s amazing craft beer scene. The beer festival highlighted over 10 Utah craft breweries, live music, food trucks, local vendors and a silent auction at the gorgeous Mt. Naomi Farm & Vineyards. It was a beautiful day with nearly 600 attendees helping raise a significant amount of money to support our mission.

Planning is now underway for this year’s Community Craft Beer Fest and is scheduled for Sunday, September 21st 2025!

Meet 2024’s Community Craft Unsung Hero – LeeAnn Koval

Hillcrest Elementary teacher LeeAnn Koval is making a difference in the lives of children, both inside and outside of the classroom. As a 4th-grade teacher in the Portuguese side of the school’s Dual Language Immersion program, she is dedicated to education—but her passion for service extends far beyond the school walls. Since November 2020, she has been actively involved with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP), an organization committed to ensuring that no child sleeps on the floor. Over the years, she has participated in building an estimated 200 beds.

LeeAnn’s dedication to our community makes her the perfect recipient of Prodigy Brewing’s Community Craft inaugural Unsung Hero Award!
