Community Craft is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Prodigy Brewing with a mission close to our hearts: to honor and support the unsung heroes of Cache who are making our community stronger.
Our Mission
Community Craft exists to recognize individuals who quietly make a difference—those who volunteer, mentor, support neighbors, and strengthen our community without seeking recognition. We celebrate their contributions by directing resources to support their meaningful work throughout Cache Valley.
What We’ve Accomplished
Since our founding in 2024, Community Craft has:
- Hosted an annual Beer Fest and Pub Crawl, raising significant funds for local organizations.
- Supported Families Feeding Families during the holiday season.
- Recognized multiple Unsung Heroes who exemplify selfless community service.
- LeeAnn Koval a 4th grade teacher was our inaugural awardee. She builds beds for her students and other children in the Valley who otherwise go without.
- Janis Boettinger & Geno Schupp who were given the opportunity for Community Craft to donate to the local charities on their behalf for the amazing behind-the-scenes work they have done for countless organizations.
- Created a platform for businesses and residents to celebrate the people who make Cache Valley special.
We Need Your Help
As we plan our path to honoring more unsung heroes in 2026, we’re asking local leaders, business owners, and managers like you to nominate an employee or customer who embodies the spirit of Community Craft. Do you know someone who:
- Volunteers their time to help others?
- Goes above and beyond to support the community?
- Makes Cache Valley a better place through quiet, consistent action?
Nominate them today. Help us shine a light on the people who deserve recognition and ensure our 2026 funds reach the hands of those making the biggest impact.
Meet 2024’s Community Craft Unsung Hero – LeeAnn Koval
Hillcrest Elementary teacher LeeAnn Koval is making a difference in the lives of children, both inside and outside of the classroom. As a 4th-grade teacher in the Portuguese side of the school’s Dual Language Immersion program, she is dedicated to education—but her passion for service extends far beyond the school walls. Since November 2020, she has been actively involved with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP), an organization committed to ensuring that no child sleeps on the floor. Over the years, she has participated in building an estimated 200 beds.
LeeAnn’s dedication to our community makes her the perfect recipient of Prodigy Brewing’s Community Craft inaugural Unsung Hero Award!
